Speaker B:It's time to strap in.
Speaker C:Welcome to a rallying point for, you know, some virtuous anger.
Speaker C:Man, I mean, it's damn time that we really started to stand up to this show that's going on right now in, in politics it happens all the time and it's not unique, but this time around, this time is different.
Speaker C:And so stirring up some anger, there's nothing wrong with that and we need to channel it in the right way.
Speaker C:You know, this is going to be a place hopefully to discern between low level noise stuff that's just going to pull you every which way and try to figure out what's important to get indignant over, what's important to rally around, what's important to talk about.
Speaker C:And that's a key because we want to stick our head in the sand.
Speaker C:We don't want to talk about religion and politics, which is really the two of the most important things in life.
Speaker C:And we don't want to talk about it.
Speaker C:We need to because we have to have places to call it out but not escalate it up necessarily.
Speaker C:You know, the worst thing we can do is use all caps and exclamation points.
Speaker C:That's not going to be the point.
Speaker C:We can get a little excited, but that only turns people off, first of all.
Speaker C:And it doesn't get your message across and it doesn't let a really good perspective be heard be because people say talk to the hand, but we want to judge the actions of our representatives, but let's not deride the person.
Speaker C:I know it's hard.
Speaker C:It's hard for me, it's hard for all of us.
Speaker C:We've all got our biases, we're all trying to work them over, but we got to work harder at that because again, that just dilutes the message and it makes it less effective.
Speaker C:And we've got to have places where we can exhale amid the chaos that's going on out there.
Speaker C:So let's be informed.
Speaker C:I want to review and comment on the current news cycle and let this be a place for your voice, your intelligence and perspective to be heard.
Speaker C:So together, let's defend our constitutional democratic republic be because we've got a good country that just made a recently bad decision.
Speaker C:Stay tuned.
